Huge thanks to the cover artist, Dar Albert, for capturing the story elements and designing this gorgeous cover for Were Blood:
The glow of the sun in the background is a huge element in the story. The castle is just a small part but it makes the cover. As well as the heroine. Beautiful.

Book 3 in the Were Legends series (and probably my favorite!)

Thank you, Syneca!!
And here’s a photo of the man who sort of inspired Kaige’s look:
(Minus the facial hair, of course.)

I love, love, love this cover!
Blurb:
How does a woman who usually follows the straight and narrow end up handcuffed to a chair by her ex-husband’s younger brother, a wickedly delicious man who just happens to be a cop? And the star of her most forbidden fantasies. Kara Reynolds has spent the past thirty-eight years being a good girl, but there’s something about Austin that makes her want to be really bad. Now, she’s caught in a situation that could either humiliate her…or set her free.
Oh, and tomorrow is WereSlave’s release! I’ll have up some sizzling excerpts so be sure to stop by.
The Cover for WereSlave
Here’s the cover for WereSlave. What do you think? Not too shabby, right? I love the background, the castle and the heroine in the moon. And the hero is quite lovely (although I do have to point out that he doesn’t have facial hair in the book, just so ya know :-))
Release date is to be determined but hopefully it’s not too far off. I’m working on the second book in the series right now, Were Seduction, and I’m almost finished!
Here’s a blurb for WereSlave:
As the Queen of Paqualette, Nayla is forbidden to have a husband or a human lover. Her life is a lonely and disciplined existence, so when she’s given the opportunity to choose a Were from her dungeon as her sex slave, she takes a chance. Werewolves are nothing but senseless monsters, she knows from firsthand experience. But after the one she selects to be her WereSlave turns out to be more of a man than she’d ever known, she must question her beliefs.
As the alpha leader, Mace is responsible for his pack. He’ll do anything to keep them alive, even give into the Queen’s sexual demands. But not unless he’s in control. Turning his enticing captor into the submissive is the only way to show her he’s more man than she realizes. Falling in love with Nayla is out of the question but will he be able to leave her behind when his pack is finally free?

WereSlave Cover Request Form
I’m filling out my Cover Request Form for my upcoming Ellora’s Cave release, WereSlave. It’s an interesting process. They ask to describe the tone/mood of the story. I had to think about that for a while but came up with: sensual, dark fairy tale, mystical, and paranormal. Being the indecisive person that I am, I’ll probably change that a couple times before I submit the form. I mean, does “paranormal” really describe a mood? Hmm…
For the hero’s description so far I have: Black hair past shoulders, light blue eyes, lean muscular build, tan. No facial hair. Naked! He appears to be around 30 years old.
Sound good? LOL! My poor hero is naked 95% of the time in this story, I swear. Good thing he doesn’t get cold!
Well, better get back to work!
